1. How do I modify the "Why Choose Us" verbiage in RE4

You can change the verbiage via the en_US.po file, please see http://wp.contempographicdesign.com/wp_real_estate_4/help_documentation/#translation

Just update the file > save and upload to your server.

I don't recommend this, but if you don't want to use the translation file you can hard code your new verbiage via index.php > lines 86-88

2. Number Format in WP Pro Real Estate 3, 4 & Automotive

Problem:

I want to have the point instead the comma on the prices. Ex. 10.000 instead 10,000. Is that possible? Thanks.

Solution:

You'll need to modify > admin > theme-functions.php > lines 691-696, take a look at:
http://php.net/manual/en/function.number-format.php
crob

3. How do I change the Listings slug?

NOTE: This doesn't apply to WP Pro Real Estate 7

Really easy, go into admin > custom-posts.php > change line 36 to whatever you like.

4. How do I add an extra status flag, in Real Estate 4, 5 or 6?

NOTE: THIS DOES NOT APPLY TO REAL ESTATE 7, SEE THIS ARTICLE FOR RE7

Go to admin/theme-functions.php and change ct_status function to be like that:

function ct_status() { ?>

<?php if(has_status('reduced') || has_status('sold') || has_status('leased') || has_status('open-house') || has_status('for-rent') || has_status('rental') || has_status('CUSTOM_STATUS')) { ?>

<h6 class="snipe <?php if(has_status('reduced')) { echo "reduced"; } elseif(has_status('sold')) { echo "sold"; } elseif(has_status('leased')) { echo "leased"; } elseif(has_status('open-house')) { echo "open-house"; } elseif(has_status('available')) { echo "available"; } elseif(has_status('for-rent') || has_status('rental')) { echo "rental"; } elseif(has_status('CUSTOM_STATUS')) { echo "CUSTOM_STATUS"; } ?>">

<?php if(has_status('reduced')) { ?><?php _e('Reduced', 'contempo'); ?><?php } elseif(has_status('leased')) { ?><?php _e('Leased', 'contempo'); ?><?php } elseif(has_status('sold')) { ?><?php _e('Sold', 'contempo'); ?><?php } elseif(has_status('open-house')) { ?><?php _e('Open House', 'contempo'); ?><?php } elseif(has_status('available')) { ?><?php _e('Available', 'contempo'); ?><?php } elseif(has_status('for-rent') || has_status('rental')) { ?><?php _e('Rental', 'contempo'); ?><?php } elseif(has_status('CUSTOM_STATUS')) { _e('CUSTOM_STATUS', 'contempo'); } ?>

</h6> <?php } ?> <?php }

Then go to Appearance -> Editor -> Stylesheet or Theme Options -> Create a Skin -> Custom CSS and style the CUSTOM_STATUS class like that:

.CUSTOM_STATUS {
background-color: BG_COLOR;
color: FG_COLOR;
}

Changing the colors the way you like them.

5. How do I change the Testimonial display speed in WP Pro Real Estate 4?

Problem:

I'm using real estate pro4 theme. At the bottom of my home page I've enabled the Testimonial widget.. Lots of people have been remarking that it moves too fast, is there a way to slow it down?

6. The map on the listing detail page doesn't display it just keeps spinning in WP Pro Real Estate 3, 4 or 5?

Make sure you have all your address information filled out correctly.

Listing Title: Street Address
City, State & Zipcode: Taxonomies on the right

Or

Lat/Long

7. List my properties in order from the highest price to the lowest in WP Pro Real Estate 2, 3, 4 or 5

Solution:

Hi!
You'll have to change a php file... So you might want to do a backup or use a child theme for that. Anyway...
Go to search-listings.php and look for "$search_values = array();", then put this code right after that:
$search_values['orderby']='meta_value_num';
$search_values['meta_key']='_ct_price';

Those single quotes must be preserved.

8. How do I add Agent Information?

Go into your WordPress Admin > Users > User, fill out all the appropriate information > Save > and you're good to go!
